About Nancy
ABOUT ME
I was born in the Southwest (Albuquerque, NM) and moved almost every year or two growing up. I lived in Scottsdale, AZ – Kingman, AZ – Texarkana, AK – Amarillo, TX – El Paso, TX – Sandy, Utah – Idaho Falls, ID – Las Vegas, NV – Huntsville, AL – Long Beach, MS – Fort Worth, TX – Lanham, MD – Columbia, MD – Sykesville, MD. Needless to say, we looked at many houses through the years and owned seven homes in different states at one point. I loved the process of looking for homes, buying homes and selling homes. My father was a Lt. Col. in the Army and an Electrical Engineer. This position resulted in many moves. The most unusual place we lived was Las Vegas, NV. My father worked at Area 51 and the Nevada Test-site. Since it was a high security clearance position, he was never allowed to tell us what he did or what he saw.
After college I met and married my husband who is from Maryland. We have three children that all grew up in Howard County and went to Howard County schools. We lived in Columbia, MD for many years and then moved to Sykesville, MD. All three of my children were very active in sports in Howard County.
EXPERIENCE
I have many years of experience in the Real Estate field:
Real Estate Agent/Staff Accountant/Accounting/Property Analyst - Professional with extensive experience working for top Real Estate Investment Trust companies (The Rouse Company / General Growth Properties; and CRC Continental Realty Corporation). Some properties I did accounting for were: Columbia Mall, Towson Town Mall, White Marsh Mall, Owings Mills, Owings Mills Office, Columbia Gateway, Arizona Center and Arizona Office, Christiana Mall in New Jersey, Gallery at Harborplace, Gallery Garage, and recently Commercial and Residential (apartment) properties in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, TN, etc. I also have experience working with lawyers relating to tax appeals, real property taxes…etc.
I obtained my Real Estate License while working for The Rouse Company in 2004. I was dual career working on Real Estate on the side. I’m now transitioning into full time Real Estate.
I have been a member of the Million Dollar Club and I’m currently a SRES, SRS, ABR and have been a member of CRS taking many real estate classes and trainings.
